We have been aspirating to support Tibetan Buddhist provisions and impoverished sentiment beings for long, albeit our resources are fairly limited and rare. However, we strongly believe that by arousing our bodhicitta, our wishes will eventually come true. As driven by this faith, we determine to accomplish the mentioned objective with massive devotion.

We begged H. H. Karmapa’s consent and guidance to ensure if our plans are attainable. We then conveyed our ideas to H. H. Karmapa, in which we plan to establish a non profitable organization for charity purpose. At the same time, we will incorporate a limited company to handle Tibetan Buddhist ritual items in order to sponsor the charity trust.

“Karmapa Khenno!” H. H. Karmapa has already given us the directions clearly yet we have not articulated our proposals in full. The most precious gift for us is that H. H. Karmapa has granted us the name for our organization in Chinese – ‘Li Ta’ (i.e. altruism). This is the story behind ‘Li Ta’ whereas ‘Shen Pen’ is the Tibetan name for altruism translated by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche.

This incidence has allowed us to discern how compassionate, trustful and wish-fulfilling our teachers are in order to fulfill the wishes of their disciples. In here, we sincerely declare that, we will try our best to uphold the Buddha dharma, to relieve sentiment beings from poverty. The foundation of Shen Pen is an indication of our sole commitment to realize altruistic spirits by the rest of our life time.

In addition, we pray for the supreme longevity of H. H. Karmapa, may his Buddhist activities spread and flourish. We also supplicate for H.H. Karmapa’s quick swift return to Rumtek Monastery without any hindrances.
